FITERA SUPER SLIM contains Alexandrian senna leaf, a plant source of sennosides, which stimulate intestinal peristalsis. This is what makes the tea noticeable in the short term: there is a feeling of lightness, especially if your meals have become heavier or more irregular.
However, sennosides belong to the anthraglycoside group, and with prolonged daily use the bowel can adapt to their effect — the effect weakens, and stopping abruptly can cause discomfort. For this reason, herbal teas like this are not intended for continuous use over many months without breaks and without consulting a specialist.
Adults drink 1 glass once a day with a meal. Without medical supervision, the tea is not taken for longer than 1–2 weeks in a row; a longer course (up to 2–3 weeks according to the label) only in agreement with a doctor. A doctor should be consulted before use. The tea is not used in case of diarrhoea or acute gastrointestinal disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or in case of intolerance to its ingredients; it is not intended for children under 12. If you take medication (especially cardiac glycosides or diuretics), consulting a doctor beforehand is essential.
