Can KARAPUZ baby powder be used on newborns? — Baby Powder Sensitive, 50 g – Karapuz

KARAPUZ Beebipuuder baby powder is intended specifically for children with sensitive skin, including newborns. It has two ingredients: talc, which spreads in a thin layer and reduces friction, and corn starch, which helps absorb excess moisture. Both ingredients are widely used in children's cosmetics and contain no fragrance.

The powder is convenient to use after bathing, when changing a nappy and in hot weather, when a baby's skin is particularly prone to redness from heat and moisture. Parents often choose it for the nappy area and other places where skin touches skin or clothing.

Care is needed when applying it: do not spray the powder into the air, and do not let it get near the child's nose and mouth, into the eyes or onto mucous membranes. The powder is not used in cases of hypersensitivity to its ingredients, and if an allergic reaction occurs, stop using it and consult a doctor. It is recommended to apply a small amount directly to the skin or to your hand and then spread it gently. If the baby already has marked irritation or weeping areas, or the reaction gets worse, consult a paediatrician before continuing to use it.
