Can people with sensitive skin use the ointment?

The formula of LOODU Kadakasalv is built on a small number of ingredients: rapeseed oil, juniper extract and propolis. The absence of an overloaded composition is a plus for those who watch what they apply to their skin. Nevertheless, two points deserve attention.

• Propolis. A bee product that causes a contact reaction in some people, especially if they are already sensitive to honey, wax or other bee products.
• Alcohol in the composition. The manufacturer states its presence, which may matter for very reactive skin.

Before regular use, it is sensible to do a simple test: apply a small amount of ointment to the inner elbow or the wrist and wait 24 hours. If no redness, itching or burning appears, the product is most likely suitable for everyday use.

Apply with caution to strongly irritated or damaged areas. With chronic skin conditions, it is worth consulting a dermatologist before use.
