Can the mask be used on a sensitive scalp?

The mask contains several plant components: nettle, centella, burdock root, lovage and lupin. Nettle is valued for its soothing properties, and products containing it are often chosen specifically for a sensitive scalp. Centella is also known as a mild antioxidant component.

The mask is not used in cases of individual intolerance to its ingredients; this is important, for example, if you are allergic to lupin, as the formula contains an extract of its seeds. In addition, any plant extract can cause an individual reaction, especially if your skin is prone to irritation or allergies. Before the first full use, it is recommended to do a test: apply a small amount of the mask to the skin behind the ear or to the crook of the elbow, wait 24 hours and check the reaction.

  • If your scalp reacts to most products with herbal extracts, introduce the mask gradually, starting by applying it only to the lengths without touching the scalp.
  • If itching, redness or a burning sensation occurs, rinse off the product, stop using it and consult a doctor. Avoid getting the mask in your eyes; if it does get into them, rinse them with water.
  • If you have chronic skin conditions (seborrhoeic dermatitis, scalp psoriasis), it is worth consulting a specialist before using new cosmetic products.

The mask is a cosmetic product and is not intended to treat scalp conditions.
