10% urea is a working concentration chosen when light lotions no longer give the desired result. It attracts moisture and makes the skin surface smoother, which is especially noticeable on rough areas — elbows, shins and heels.
At the same time, it is precisely this concentration that can sting if the skin is currently damaged: if there are micro-cracks, severe irritation or open areas. In this case, it is recommended to apply the cream to a small area of healthy skin first and wait a few minutes. If there is no discomfort, you can move on to normal use.
On intact but dry and sensitive skin, the cream is usually well tolerated. If a reaction does appear — redness, burning, increased irritation — stop using it and consult a doctor. The cream is not used by anyone hypersensitive to any of its ingredients. If you have a chronic skin condition, it is best to consult a specialist before using urea products.
