In a multi-step routine, the cream is usually applied last — after a toner, essence or serum. The logic is simple: lighter, watery textures penetrate the skin faster, while a rich cream with beeswax creates a protective layer on top of them that helps hold in the ingredients applied earlier.
If you use a serum with active ingredients (for example, retinol or acids), let it absorb completely before applying the cream — usually 1–2 minutes is enough. This allows each product to work in its own layer without mixing.
The cream is applied to clean, slightly damp skin — this helps it spread better and enhances the feeling of softness. A small amount is enough: rich formulas with oil and wax go a long way.
According to the instructions, the cream is applied in the evening, 2 hours before bedtime, and the excess is removed with a tissue; for very dry skin, it can also be used as a “home face mask” — for 20–30 minutes, after which the remains are removed with a tissue.
