Can cedar oil be used for frying? — CEDAR OIL 100ML - ALTEJA (Edible oil)

Unrefined vegetable oils, including cedar oil, are generally not recommended for frying at high temperatures. Intense heating destroys their natural components — unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E — and the taste of the oil can become slightly bitter.

ALTEJA cedar oil is best enjoyed in cold and warm (but not hot) dishes: it is added to salads, porridges, warm vegetables and cottage cheese. It can also be taken neat — a small amount as a stand-alone addition to the diet, if you like the nutty taste.

If you need an oil specifically for frying, it is worth choosing a refined variety with a high smoke point — for example, refined sunflower or coconut oil. Cedar oil is better kept for dressings and for adding at the end to ready dishes, to preserve its taste and composition.
