Can this soap be used for washing coloured and delicate items?

The soap is designed for ordinary fabrics — cotton, synthetics and blends. For coloured items and delicate fabrics (wool, silk, viscose), it is recommended to check how the material reacts before full use: apply a small amount of soap to a hidden area, wait a few minutes and rinse it off. If the colour has not changed and the fabric has not lost its shape, you can use it.

Dyed fabrics may react differently to the alkaline environment of the soap: some hold their colour well, while others may fade slightly with prolonged contact. So on bright or poorly dyed items, it is best not to leave the soap on too long and to rinse it off straight after treatment.

Woollen items need special attention: alkaline products can cause shrinkage or change the structure of the fibre. For such items, specialised wool detergents are preferable, and the soap should be used only on individual spots and with caution, following the care label.

The soap contains no chlorine, which reduces the risk of discolouration compared with chlorine-based stain removers — a plus when dealing with coloured textiles. However, it does contain an oxygen bleaching component (sodium perborate), so a test on a hidden area is still necessary for coloured items.
