According to the manufacturer's instructions, a cosmetic oil is applied to cleansed facial skin before the massage, so using the tools without it is not recommended. Silicone is smooth in itself, but without oil the tool glides with more resistance, especially over dry skin — this raises the risk of friction irritation, particularly in areas of thin skin (around the eyes, on the neck).

The oil creates a slip layer over which the tool moves gently and evenly. The product card does not say which oil is suitable — any ordinary cosmetic oil that your skin tolerates well will do.

Massage rules according to the instructions: use only on cleansed skin; the first session — no more than 5 minutes, after that — up to 10 minutes a day; movements are gentle, without strong pressure, smooth, without lifting the tool from the skin; do not linger in one place for more than 2–3 seconds; one stroke — no more than 30 seconds. If your skin is sensitive, start with minimal pressure and short sessions and watch how your skin reacts.
