Can the balm be used on sensitive skin or if you are allergic to bee stings?

The balm's formula includes bee venom, a substance with a pronounced warming effect, but also one of the most common allergens among the ingredients of external products. If you have ever had a severe reaction to bee stings or know you are sensitive to bee products, you should not use this balm.

For sensitive skin without a confirmed allergy, it is recommended to start with a patch test: apply a small amount of balm to a limited area of skin (for example, the inside of the wrist) and wait 20–30 minutes. If no redness, itching or burning beyond the usual warming effect appears, the product will most likely be suitable for regular use.

In addition to bee venom, the formula contains plant extracts: marsh cinquefoil, comfrey, golden callisia and fly agaric extract. If you tend to react to plant ingredients, this is also worth considering before first use.

Do not apply the balm to damaged, irritated or inflamed skin, and avoid contact with mucous membranes. If you have chronic skin conditions or systemic allergic conditions, consult a doctor before use.
