Can the balm be used for children, in pregnancy or in case of allergy?

The composition of the balm includes camphor, menthol, turpentine oil and lemon essential oil — active volatile substances that can be tolerated differently depending on age and health.

  • Children: products with camphor and menthol are traditionally not recommended for young children — especially application to the face and nose. Before using it in children of any age, it is worth consulting a specialist.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: camphor and essential oils are components whose use during this period requires prior agreement with a doctor.
  • Tendency to allergy: essential oils and plant extracts (ginseng, echinacea) may cause a reaction in people with increased sensitivity. It is recommended to apply a small amount of the balm to a limited area of skin and wait a few hours before full use.

If you have chronic skin diseases, bronchial asthma or other conditions in which volatile substances can aggravate the symptoms, it is better to discuss use with a specialist in advance. This is not a restriction specific to this balm but a general recommendation for any product with camphor and essential oils.
