The product is designed to be added to ready-made or easy-to-prepare dishes — no special cooking is required.
- Kefir and yoghurt: the bran swells within a few minutes, the texture becomes thicker and the dish more filling. The berries add a light fruity note.
- Porridge: add it to porridge that is already cooked or soak it together with the flakes. The taste stays neutral, and the texture becomes slightly denser.
- Thick drinks and smoothies: it goes well with a banana or berry base — the rye flavour is barely noticeable.
- Home baking: some of the flour can be replaced with bran. The finished product comes out denser and darker, with a characteristic rye taste.
The product itself has a mild rye taste with berry notes, without pronounced bitterness. In fermented milk products it hardly changes the overall taste of the dish; in baking it is more noticeable.
The product is not intended to be eaten dry in large amounts: the fibre needs to be in contact with liquid in order to be properly processed by the body.
