Who is this product not suitable for? — Baking soda tablets N30 – Niksen

Since the product is based on sodium bicarbonate, it contains sodium. This means the supplement is not suitable for uncontrolled use and requires attention in a number of cases:

• Sodium restrictions in the diet — for example, in certain cardiovascular or kidney conditions, when a doctor recommends reducing your intake of salt and sodium-containing compounds.
• A sensitive stomach — the neutralisation reaction with stomach acid releases carbon dioxide, which in some people causes discomfort, bloating or belching.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding — according to the label, these are contraindications; the supplement is not taken during these periods.
• Long-term use — systematic intake of sodium bicarbonate without a specialist's supervision is not recommended, because regularly changing the acidity of the stomach environment may affect digestion.

The product is a food supplement, not a medicine, and is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition. It is not used in case of individual intolerance to its components, and adults should take no more than 1–3 tablets a day — the daily amount must not be exceeded. If you have chronic conditions or take medication, you need to consult a doctor before use.
