Who is this product not suitable for, and who should take particular care with it? — thick extract of common aspen bark 110 g-Visterra

A concentrated plant extract is not the same as a weak herbal tea. Its high content of tannins and phenolic compounds makes it an active product that does not suit everyone. It is not taken in case of individual intolerance to its components.

Consult a specialist before taking it if:

• you are prone to allergic reactions — especially to plants of the willow family, to which aspen belongs;
• you have gastrointestinal conditions such as gastritis, an ulcer or irritable bowel syndrome — tannins can increase irritation of the mucous membrane;
• you are pregnant or breastfeeding — the safety of concentrated plant extracts during this period has not been sufficiently studied;
• you are taking medicines, especially those that affect blood clotting, liver function or digestion.

The product is not intended for children unless the packaging explicitly states otherwise and a paediatrician has approved it.

If skin reactions, nausea, abdominal pain or other unusual symptoms appear after you start taking it, stop taking it, and in case of an allergic reaction consult a doctor. The natural origin of the product does not mean it is safe for everyone without exception.
