When can you expect the first changes when taking biotin?

Biotin does not work instantly, and it is important to understand this before you start taking it. Hair and nails change as they grow: new cells are formed in line with your current nutrition and metabolism, while the part that has already grown will not change. That is why noticeable results usually appear after several weeks or months of regular use — not sooner.

Hair grows on average about 1–1.5 cm a month, and nails slightly less. This means it makes sense to assess the effect no earlier than after 2–3 months of systematic use. A one-off or irregular course is unlikely to produce a noticeable result.

The product is chosen during periods when the diet has been monotonous, after stress, or when nails are brittle or hair looks dull. This does not mean that the supplement replaces a complete diet: biotin is part of general metabolic processes and works together with the other nutrients that come from food. The supplement is not a medicinal product and is not intended to treat any condition.
