When is the best time to apply the gel, and how should it be done?

The best time to apply it is in the evening: after a shower, after a working day or after a long walk, when your legs have already built up fatigue. In hot weather or after travelling, the gel can also be used in the middle of the day – the menthol gives a pronounced cooling effect that quickly relieves the feeling of heaviness.

A few practical points:

  • The skin should be clean and dry. Applying it to damp skin after a shower is fine, but lightly patting the skin with a towel improves the contact between the gel and the skin.
  • Massage from the bottom up, from the foot up the lower leg. This follows the direction of venous outflow and makes the procedure more comfortable.
  • Amount. The gel has a light texture and spreads quickly, so you do not need much – a thin, even layer is enough.
  • After application, let the gel absorb for 3–5 minutes before putting on socks or going to bed. This is particularly important because of the menthol: it continues to produce a cooling sensation for several minutes after application.

If you use the gel in courses, the easiest way is to build it into your evening routine as the final step – after moisturising, or instead of it on the lower legs and feet.
