When and how is mumijo usually taken as a course?

Mumijo is traditionally taken in courses rather than continuously. The most common reasons for a course are the cold season, periods of intense work or frequent travel, irregular eating and recovery after physical exertion. It is not an emergency remedy, but rather background support at times when your usual routine is disrupted.

For adults, 1/8 of a teaspoon (0.6 g) is dissolved in a glass of water (200 ml) and taken 2 times a day with meals for 3 weeks; 3–4 courses a year are recommended. The specific dosage and course length are given by the manufacturer on the packaging — go by this information rather than general recommendations from the internet, as concentration and form differ from product to product.

A few practical points worth bearing in mind:

  • Mumijo is best combined with general attention to your routine: sleep, nutrition and recovery enhance the effect of any supplement.
  • Do not expect quick results — products like this are judged at the end of a course, not after a few days.
  • If you take other supplements or herbal blends, it is best to check with a specialist beforehand on how to combine them.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications; if you have a chronic condition, taking it without consulting a doctor is not recommended.
