Which herbal components are in the lozenges and what are they for?

The RADOGRAD raspberry and pear lozenges are based on plants well known in the European herbal tradition. They are chosen to combine refreshing and soothing effects as the lozenge slowly dissolves.

  • Sage and thyme are traditionally used in products for the throat and mouth and are valued for their pronounced herbal character.
  • Chamomile and lemon balm are mild plants with a calming profile, often found in formulas for comfort in the season of cool weather.
  • Mint is a source of a refreshing sensation; together with menthol it is released gradually as the lozenge dissolves.
  • Linden and plantain are classic components of European herbal blends; linden is traditionally combined with honey.
  • Echinacea is one of the most studied plants in the context of immune support and is often included in seasonal complexes.
  • Marshmallow is known for its soothing properties, which is especially relevant when dissolving a lozenge: the extract gradually comes into contact with the lining of the throat.
  • Liquorice gives a characteristic sweetness and softness to the taste and is traditionally used in formulas for the throat.

Honey, lemon juice and natural flavourings complement the raspberry and pear flavour, making it more balanced. This is a food supplement, not a medicinal product. Because of the liquorice in the composition, people with high blood pressure should not eat the lozenges in large amounts. In case of increased sensitivity to any of the ingredients (including honey and the herbs in the composition) the lozenges should not be used, and in chronic diseases it is worth assessing the compatibility of the composition in advance.
