The MERTSANA MORFEI formula is built on a combination of five plant components that complement each other:
- Motherwort is one of the most traditional plants in calming herbal blends. It is included when the aim is to reduce nervous excitability and make it easier to wind down.
- Peony is used for similar purposes: in folk and herbal medicine it is used for irritability and inner tension.
- Hawthorn has been added with situations in mind where stress is felt not only emotionally but also physically — for example, when it comes with discomfort in the heart area or a rapid heartbeat brought on by worry. It is traditionally included in formulas intended to have a gentle effect on the cardiovascular system at such moments.
- Peppermint and oregano serve a dual purpose: they help relieve the feeling of spasm and muscle tension and also make the liquid formula taste more pleasant.
In addition to the plant extracts, the formula contains glutamic and citric acids.
MORFEI should not be taken in the case of individual intolerance to any of its ingredients; pregnancy and breastfeeding are also listed among the contraindications.
