How do you brew LEKRASET black cumin seed tea? — Black cumin seeds 50g LekraSET (Nigella sativa)

Nigella seeds are denser than most herbs, so rather than simply having hot water poured over them, they are boiled. According to the manufacturer's instructions, pour 250 ml of water over 10 g of seeds, bring to the boil and simmer over a low heat for 3 minutes, then cool to room temperature and strain.

The drink tastes warm and slightly astringent, with a distinct spicy note. If it seems too strong, a little honey will help soften the astringency — it goes well with the drink's oriental character.

The prepared drink is taken in 50 ml portions before meals 4 times a day and kept in a cool place for no more than 2 days.

Keep the bag tightly closed, away from moisture and direct sunlight — the seeds keep their aroma longer in a dry, dark place.
