How do I prepare and apply the brahmi powder mask? — Brahmi Powder 100 g-Sattva

Since this is brahmi powder without a ready-made cream base, the paste is prepared in the proportion of 1 part powder to 3 parts warm water. The general household procedure is as follows:

  • measure the required amount of powder into a non-metal bowl (the volume depends on the length of the hair);
  • gradually add warm water and stir to a smooth paste, with a consistency resembling sour cream — it should spread but not run;
  • leave the mixture to stand for a few minutes so that the powder hydrates;
  • apply to the scalp and along the lengths of the strands, distributing with your hands or a brush.

The mask is usually left on for about 1 hour, with the hair covered with cling film and a towel. The mixture is then thoroughly rinsed off with warm water; if desired, a usual conditioner can be used afterwards, as plant-based masks can leave the hair feeling somewhat harder to the touch. Prepare the portion immediately before use: the diluted paste is not intended for long-term storage. Use warm water only for mixing the powder.
