Instant chicory with ginseng is prepared the same way as instant coffee: the powder is poured into a cup and covered with hot water. The optimal water temperature is about 80–90°C — boiling water can make the taste harsher. The amount of powder is adjusted to taste: most people start with one teaspoon per cup of water and adjust the strength from there.
The drink combines well with milk or plant-based alternatives — this softens the taste and makes it creamier. You can add a little honey or sugar, although chicory itself has a mild sweetish note thanks to the inulin.
There are no strict limits on how often healthy adults can drink it — chicory is traditionally drunk like an ordinary hot drink, and 1–2 cups a day fit into a standard diet. However, in some people large amounts of chicory can cause stomach discomfort due to its high inulin content — especially if the gut is not used to prebiotics. In that case it is better to start with small portions.
The 100 g pack is designed for fairly long use with moderate consumption. Once opened, the pack should be stored in a dry place, tightly closed, so the powder does not absorb moisture or outside odours.
