How should this tea be brewed, and can it be brewed again? — Siberian Puer "Raspberry", 96 g-VAN DA

Before brewing, break off the amount of tea you need from the brick. According to the instructions, one segment of the brick is placed in a warmed teapot and covered with 400–600 ml of water.

Water temperature: the label says 80–90 °C — boiling water is not needed.

The first infusion time is 6–8 minutes according to the label; if you wish, you can adjust the time to your own taste.

Brewing again is entirely justified: the manufacturer specifically notes that the drink opens up well over repeated infusions. On the second and third infusion the taste usually becomes softer and slightly sweeter — this is normal for fermented teas. Each following infusion can be left a little longer.

The tea is convenient to take in a thermos: without caffeine it gives no invigorating effect, so it suits both a working day and the evening.
