How should this tea be brewed?

TEAVIT Metsamaasika taimetee is a fruit and herbal blend of dried berries and plant ingredients, so it needs a little time to brew to develop a rich flavour. The manufacturer recommends warming the teapot, taking one teaspoon of the blend per cup, pouring boiling water over it and leaving it to steep for 5–8 minutes.

The colour and character of the infusion come largely from hibiscus: it gives the bright ruby hue and refreshing tartness. Wild strawberry adds a soft berry note, aronia makes the flavour deeper and slightly astringent, and green apple brings a light fruity freshness. The longer the blend steeps, the more pronounced its tartness and colour become, so you can easily adjust the brewing time to your taste.

If you would like a milder drink, use less of the blend or shorten the steeping time; for a stronger one, do the opposite. As the blend contains no artificial flavourings and its taste comes from the dried berries and herbs themselves, the flavour is natural and may vary slightly from batch to batch.
