Linden tea made from flowers is a loose-leaf herbal infusion, and its strength is easy to adjust with the amount of material and the steeping time. As the manufacturer recommends, 1–2 teaspoons (2–4 g) of flowers are covered with 150 ml of boiling water and steeped for 3–7 minutes. For a milder taste use fewer flowers or steep closer to 3 minutes; for a more pronounced one — more flowers and up to 7 minutes.
It's best to brew under a lid or with a saucer over the cup, to keep the aroma of the flowers' essential components. After steeping, it's better to remove the flowers or strain the infusion.
Linden tea is nicer drunk warm — that's when it reveals its soft, slightly sweetish floral flavour. If you like, you can add a little honey, but that's a matter of personal taste. It's not recommended to keep the brewed infusion for longer than a few hours — it's better to make a fresh portion.
Store the dry flowers in a closed pack at +5 to +25 °C in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children — that will preserve the product's aroma and quality.
