How do you brew LEKRASET birch buds correctly?

LEKRASET birch buds are a whole plant raw material intended for preparing an infusion at home. The principle is simple: hot water extracts essential oils, resinous components and flavonoids from the buds, which create the drink's characteristic aroma and taste.

The standard approach for this raw material:

• Measure out 1 teaspoon of buds (2 g).
• Pour over 200 ml of hot water.
• Infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes, then strain.

The infusion is aromatic, with a pronounced herbal profile. The resinous components of birch buds give it a characteristic richness — this is normal for this raw material.

A few practical points: adults take 1/3 of a glass of the infusion 3 times a day with meals, as a course of up to 1 month. Keep the prepared infusion in the fridge for no more than 2 days. Store the raw material itself in a dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours — resinous substances easily absorb other aromas.

The infusion is not used in case of individual intolerance to its components, and it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you take medicines long-term, consult a specialist before use.
