The manufacturer states the method of use on the packaging — follow these recommendations on dosage and frequency. Below are general principles that apply to complexes of this kind.
Take with meals. According to the label, adults take 2 tablets 2 times a day with water. Calcium carbonate is absorbed better in the acidic environment of the stomach, which is activated when you eat. Vitamins D3 and K2 are fat-soluble, so a small amount of fat in the meal (oil, nuts, avocado) improves their absorption.
Do not combine with foods that reduce calcium absorption. Large amounts of coffee, tea, spinach or bran at the same meal may partly interfere with the absorption of the mineral — it is better to space them out.
Take with plenty of water — at least a glass. This is the standard recommendation for tablet forms.
Take in courses. Complexes like this are usually taken in courses, especially in autumn and winter when there is little sunlight. The length of the course follows the instructions or a specialist's recommendation.
Do not double the dose if you miss one: simply continue with the usual schedule. An excessive intake of calcium and vitamin D is undesirable, so it is important to stick to the stated dosage and take other sources of these substances in your diet into account.
