Red pepper tincture comes in liquid form (extract 1:5), which means that it is diluted in a small amount of water immediately before use. The liquid format is convenient because the extract mixes quickly with water and does not need a long time to dissolve.
Traditionally, such tinctures are taken before meals — this is when capsaicin (the main active substance in red pepper) can stimulate salivation and digestive processes, creating a characteristic feeling of inner warmth.
Because the tincture has a pronounced pungent taste, start with a small amount to find out how well you tolerate hot plant extracts. If your mucous membranes respond with discomfort or a burning sensation, this is a signal to reduce the dose or stop using the product.
According to the manufacturer's instructions, 16–32 drops are dissolved in 50 ml of water and taken 15 minutes before a meal; the recommended daily dose is 1 ml (32 drops), which must not be exceeded. If you have chronic gastrointestinal conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medicines, consult a specialist before you start taking it.
