Chewable tablets are taken by chewing them — they are not swallowed whole. This is the standard way to use this format. The manufacturer states the dose and frequency on the packaging — follow those recommendations.
When combining them with other supplements, pay attention to the following:
- If you already take a multivitamin complex or separate B-group vitamins, check whether they contain B12, so as not to exceed a reasonable total amount unnecessarily.
- Vitamin B12 is water-soluble, and any excess is generally excreted in the urine; however, this does not mean that duplicating supplements is always justified.
- Store the product as indicated on the packaging — usually in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
If you take any medicines or have chronic conditions, consult a doctor before adding any vitamin complex to your diet.
