How should the product be applied so as not to damage the healthy skin nearby?

Since the product works through an alkaline cauterising component, the main goal during application is maximum precision. This is how it is usually done with formulas of this kind:

  • Protect the surrounding skin. Before application, generously coat the skin around the growth with baby cream — this creates a barrier and reduces the risk of the formula accidentally touching healthy skin.
  • Apply only to the growth itself. Use the smallest possible amount of the product and try not to go beyond the edges of the wart, corn or papilloma. The bottle holds 1.5 ml, which suits spot application.
  • Do not rub or spread it. After application, let the formula work as described in the instructions, without rubbing it into the skin.
  • Wash your hands after the procedure. The alkaline formula must not get onto mucous membranes or into the eyes.

If the product does get onto healthy skin, rinse the area under running water straight away for 10–15 minutes. Following the manufacturer's instructions exactly is essential: they give specific directions on how long to leave the product on and how often to apply it, and these must be followed.
