The balm is intended for external use 2–3 times a day and is most often applied to large areas of the body — the back, neck, shoulders and knees. It is convenient to apply after physical activity, a long walk or a day of work at the computer, or in the cold season, when you want to give certain areas extra attention.
The texture is not too dense, so it spreads without unnecessary friction and is quickly absorbed — this makes application comfortable, even during self-massage.
A few practical points to bear in mind:
The formula is active: menthol, camphor, and black pepper and horseradish extracts produce a pronounced cooling and then warming effect — this is a normal reaction, but such intensity may not suit sensitive skin.
Damaged areas: do not apply the balm to grazes, cuts or irritated skin.
Eye area and mucous membranes: avoid contact — menthol and the essential oil components can cause a strong burning sensation.
First use: apply a small amount to a limited area and wait a few minutes to make sure there is no unwanted reaction.
The balm is not used in case of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients — note that it contains walnut oil and wheat germ oil. If you have chronic skin conditions or are prone to allergies, it is advisable to consult a specialist before use.
