The balm is applied locally — only to the area concerned: the back, neck, calves, knees or another area where you feel tension or stiffness. Start with a small amount of the product: the warming effect builds up gradually and appears about 15 minutes after application, so no more is applied until the sensation of warmth appears. The balm is rubbed in with massaging movements until fully absorbed, 1–2 times a day.
The balm can be used on its own or as a base for massage: warmth makes the tissues more receptive to kneading, so a massage with this kind of product usually feels deeper and more effective.
Important safety rules:
Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin; the balm is not used by people with sensitive skin.
Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes; if it gets into the eyes, see a doctor immediately.
After application, wash your hands thoroughly with soap — the pepper components are easily transferred from the hands to other parts of the body.
If the burning sensation turns out to be too intense, do not wash it off with water, as water intensifies the burning. Instead, coat the treated area with vegetable oil (for example, sunflower oil).
Keep the balm out of the reach of children. It is not used in case of individual intolerance to its ingredients. If you have a chronic skin condition or allergies, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is worth consulting a specialist before use.
