The product is intended for external use only: it is applied to the skin around the nose - the sides and the area beneath the nostrils. This is the zone that suffers most during a runny nose: the skin there is thin and is constantly irritated by tissues and dry air.

Apply a small amount of ointment with light movements, without rubbing it in forcefully. The mucous membranes, eyes and mouth are areas the product must not touch. If the ointment accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse them with clean water.

The manufacturer recommends applying the ointment once or several times a day and before bed; otherwise, go by how your skin feels - as soon as it starts to feel tight again or you want to refresh the menthol effect, you can apply it again. There is no need to apply a thick layer: a thin coating is enough both to soften the skin and for the scent.
