How should TRAVMAZIN gel be applied correctly and how often can it be used? — Horse gel "TRAVMAZIN", Pharma Group, 100 ml

According to the label, the gel is applied to the skin of the legs in a thin layer, rubbed in lightly, twice a day. A small amount of the product is spread with light movements until absorbed. Thanks to the gel texture the product leaves no greasy film and does not need long rubbing.

The camphor and turpentine in the composition give a noticeable warming effect: the skin may warm up perceptibly and a slight tingling may appear — this is a normal reaction to these components. If the burning sensation becomes intense, it's better to wash the gel off with water.

Before the first use, especially with sensitive skin, apply a small amount of gel to a limited patch of skin and wait 15–20 minutes. If there is no reaction, you can use it on the desired area.

  • Do not apply to open skin damage, abrasions, cuts or mucous membranes.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes and face.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after application.

Frequency of use — according to the label: twice a day. If discomfort doesn't go away or gets worse, that is a reason to see a specialist rather than increase the number of applications.
