Since the shampoo is designed for weakened hair prone to falling out, there are a few practical points worth noting.
Applying to the scalp. Focus on the scalp rather than the lengths: that is where the follicles are, and that is where the active ingredients of the formula are aimed. The lengths are cleansed by the water that runs down when rinsing.
Contact time. According to the instructions, the shampoo is lathered with massaging movements and then rinsed off thoroughly with water — the label does not give a separate leave-on time.
Water temperature. Hot water irritates the scalp and further dehydrates the lengths. Ideally, use warm water for washing and cool water for the final rinse.
Mechanical stress. Weakened hair breaks more easily when wet. Do not rub it with a towel — blot it. Comb only once the hair has dried a little, and start from the ends.
Regularity. The shampoo is designed for regular use. A single use will not give a noticeable result — ingredients such as biotin and zinc build up their effect with consistent care.
If your scalp is sensitive, assess the reaction the first time you use it and avoid getting the product in your eyes. If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, stop using it and consult a doctor. The formula contains hydrolysed soy protein and lupin seed extract — if you are allergic to them, it is best not to use the shampoo.
The shampoo combines well with leave-in products for the lengths (serums, oils, masks), as it contains no heavy silicones (the only silicone in the formula is the water-soluble PEG-12 Dimethicone). This makes it possible to build a multi-step routine without the risk of weighing down the strands.
