The cream-balm is applied to clean, dry skin of the heels and feet — for example, after a shower or a foot bath, once the feet have been thoroughly patted dry with a towel. After warm water the keratinised layer is softened, and the formula spreads more evenly.
If the skin on the heels is very thick, the rough areas can be gently treated with a pumice stone or a soft foot file before applying the cream — this removes part of the keratinised layer and improves the product's contact with the skin. Do not rub too hard: the aim is to smooth the surface slightly, not to remove the whole horny layer at once.
Massage the cream in, paying particular attention to the heels, the sides of the feet and other rough areas. After application you can put on cotton socks — this creates a light occlusive effect and helps the ingredients absorb better overnight. This routine is especially convenient for evening care.
During periods when the skin dries out particularly quickly — in the heating season, after long walks, after sport or with frequent contact with water — the cream can be used on a regular basis. If you have sensitive skin, first apply a small amount to a limited area and watch for any reaction.
