The first sign that the product is working is the darkening of the growth where it was applied. This is a normal reaction to the keratolytic action of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide: the alkaline ingredients break down the dense layer of keratinised cells, and the tissue changes colour. This is followed by the stage of natural peeling — the growth gradually comes away on its own.

The exact timing depends on the density and size of the growth, as well as on how closely the application instructions are followed. According to the instructions, peeling begins after 1–2 days and complete removal takes place on days 3–5; larger growths are treated again — 1–3–5 procedures per course are recommended.

If severe burning, redness or pain appears on the surrounding skin after application, this is a sign that the liquid has spread beyond the growth or that the skin is reacting more strongly than expected. In this case, rinse the area with water and do not use the product again until you have consulted a specialist.
