TEAVIT TAIGA tee is a herbal blend that combines ingredients typical of northern and Siberian recipes. The taste of the infusion is built up from several layers:
- Rosehip — gives the drink depth and a slight tartness and makes it richer.
- Birch leaf — is responsible for the astringency and the characteristic herbal note that sets taiga blends apart from ordinary fruit or flower teas.
- Juniper — adds a coniferous, spicy accent, which gives the infusion its distinctly “forest” character.
- St John's wort — softens the overall picture, making the taste rounder and less sharp.
- Cedar nut — the finishing touch: it gives the infusion softness and a taiga warmth, smoothing out the slightly bitter notes of the herbs.
The result is a woody, slightly resinous drink with a full herbal taste — noticeably different from classic black or green tea. It can be brewed as an infusion on its own or added to your usual tea to make it more expressive — in either case, pour boiling water over the blend and leave it to steep for at least 8 minutes.
