The knee warmer is made of four fibres, each responsible for a specific property:
- Acrylic — the main “insulator”: it retains heat well even though the fabric is fairly thin.
- Cotton — softens the inner surface, reducing the likelihood of irritation during prolonged wear.
- Elastane — provides stretch and a snug fit without squeezing: the knee warmer hugs the leg but does not restrict bending.
- Polyester — increases durability so that the product keeps its shape after repeated use and washing.
This combination makes the knee warmer suitable for regular wear. However, if you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation, start by wearing it for short periods and see how it feels. If discomfort or redness appears, it is best to stop using it.
