Colour-treated and bleached hair tends to be more porous, meaning the cuticle layer is lifted and the hair loses moisture quickly, feels rough, and tangles easily. Hydrolysed keratin in this conditioner consists of small protein fragments that can temporarily fill gaps in the damaged cuticle, making the hair surface smoother and easier to comb. Panthenol acts as a humectant, attracting and holding water inside the hair shaft, which improves flexibility and reduces the brittle snap that often follows lightening.
Coconut oil adds a light lipid layer that helps seal in that moisture and reduces friction between strands, which is a common cause of colour fade from mechanical wear. Vitamin E protects the formula's oils from oxidation, so the product stays stable in the bottle.
For best results on coloured hair, use a sulphate-free or colour-protect shampoo, wash with lukewarm (not hot) water, and apply this conditioner every wash, leaving it on for 3–5 minutes. Avoid applying conditioner to the root area if your scalp gets oily quickly — focus on the lengths and ends where colour damage is most visible. If you use heat tools, always follow with a heat protectant; this conditioner does not replace one.
