Is this soap suitable for washing hair, and what ingredients support this dual use?

Floresan SPA Berry Wild Strawberry Soap is formulated as a 2-in-1 cleansing agent, meaning it is safe and intended for use on both the body and the hair. Unlike traditional bar soaps that can leave a residue or disrupt the scalp's pH balance significantly, this product uses a texture similar to a shower gel but relies on specific botanical compounds for cleaning.

The primary cleansing mechanism comes from soapwort root, which contains natural saponins. These plant compounds create foam in water and have a long history of use in European washing culture for gentle skin and fabric cleaning. This allows it to remove sweat, excess oil, and styling residue effectively without the harsh detergents found in some commercial shampoos.

To ensure the hair and skin remain comfortable after washing, the formula includes panthenol (provitamin B5), which helps both tissues hold moisture better and feel softer. Additionally, green tea and chamomile extracts provide soothing and antioxidant properties, while wild strawberry leaf extract adds a toning and refreshing effect. This combination makes it particularly useful for quick showers, gym sessions, or travel where carrying multiple bottles is inconvenient.

However, because it is a soap-based cleanser, those with very dry scalps, heavily bleached hair, or sensitive skin reacting to fragrances may find it beneficial to alternate this with a milder, specialized shampoo. It is best used as part of a routine where you enjoy a fresh, thoroughly washed feel rather than a heavy conditioning effect.
