This soap is described as a mild cleansing bar with a skin-friendly pH of 5.5, closer to the skin's natural pH than many traditional alkaline bars. The cream soap format is specifically designed to avoid the tight, dry feeling that some soaps leave behind. However, mild does not mean fragrance-free: this bar is fragranced with blueberry and quince (aiva) — a combination described as fresh and pleasant — and fragrance is one of the more common reasons a cosmetic product can feel irritating to easily irritated skin.
If your skin tends to react to new products, check the full ingredient composition on the packaging before use, especially if you already know you react to certain cosmetic ingredients. A small patch test is a practical safeguard: wash a small area such as the inside of the forearm, rinse, and observe how the skin feels over the next day or two before using the bar over your whole body. Avoid contact with the eyes, as with any soap.
If you have a chronic skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are unsure whether a fragranced cleansing bar suits you, consult a specialist before regular use. This is a cosmetic cleanser, not a treatment for skin conditions, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.
