Is this shower gel suitable if my skin often feels dry or tight after washing?

GREEN PHARMACY Shower Gel with Damascus Rose and Shea Butter is intended for people who want a body wash that cleanses without leaving the skin feeling overly stripped. Its formula includes cleansing agents to remove sweat, sunscreen and surface impurities, while ingredients such as shea butter, glycerin and sorbitol help the skin feel smoother and more comfortable after rinsing.

Shea butter is an emollient, so it can leave a light protective feel on the skin surface rather than the “squeaky” sensation some stronger cleansers give. Glycerin and sorbitol are humectant-type ingredients that attract water, which can help reduce the tight feeling some people notice after showering. The formula also uses milder surfactants such as coco-glucoside and sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, which support foaming and cleansing with a gentler skin feel.

That said, it contains a Damascus rose element and has a floral scent, so it may not be ideal for everyone who reacts to fragranced body products. If your skin is very dry, very reactive, or sensitive to fragrance, apply a small amount to a limited area first and wait to see how your skin responds before using it all over. Stop using it if irritation, burning, or persistent discomfort appears.

For drier skin, use lukewarm rather than hot water, avoid prolonged scrubbing, rinse well, and apply a body lotion or cream after towel-drying if your skin still needs extra comfort.
