This gel contains mint, which creates a noticeable cooling sensation on the skin, and aloe juice, which is included for its hydrating and softening properties in a rinse-off format. For most people this combination feels refreshing and comfortable, but cooling ingredients can sometimes cause irritation on skin that is already dry, reactive, or compromised.
If your skin tends to be sensitive or very dry:
Do a patch test first. Apply a small amount to a discreet area such as the inner forearm and wait 24 hours to check for any redness, itching, or discomfort before using it on larger areas.
Avoid hot water. Washing with very hot water increases dryness and can make skin feel tighter after showering. Lukewarm water is gentler, especially if your skin is already prone to dryness.
Consider your skin's current state. If your skin is visibly irritated, cracked, or flaking, it is generally better to choose a very mild, fragrance-free wash product until the skin has recovered.
If discomfort appears during or after use, stop using the product.
This shower gel is not intended to treat or manage any skin condition. If you have ongoing skin concerns such as eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis, consult a dermatologist or pharmacist about which cleansing products are appropriate for your individual needs.
