For curly or wavy hair, the cotton extract adds a softening, conditioning effect that can reduce post-wash tangling and make detangling easier. If your scalp is reactive — prone to itching, redness, or tightness after washing — the absence of common irritants (SLS/SLES, added salt) lowers the trigger threshold.
