This product is described as a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturising serum, so it can be a good fit for many skin types, including combination and oily skin. Oily skin can still be dehydrated: it may feel tight after cleansing, look dull, or show fine surface lines caused by lack of water rather than lack of oil. A hyaluronic acid serum is often chosen in that situation because it focuses on water retention rather than adding a rich oily layer.
For combination skin, you can apply it all over the face or use a little more on areas that feel tight, such as the cheeks, and less on areas that already feel comfortable. For oily skin, keep the amount modest: a few drops are usually enough for the face. Applying too much of any serum can leave a tacky feeling, even when the texture itself is fluid.
It should still be followed with a moisturising cream, even if your skin is oily. Choose the cream texture according to your skin’s needs; the serum provides hydration support, while the cream helps seal it in. If your skin reacts easily to new cosmetics or you have active skin concerns, test the serum on a small area first and stop using it if irritation appears.
