This oil contains dandelion root, which belongs to the Asteraceae family. If you have ever reacted to plants like chamomile, marigold, arnica or other members of that family, use this product with extra caution. The warming effect from ginger can also feel stronger on sensitive skin, and any massage oil with botanical ingredients can cause a reaction in predisposed people.

Before your first full use, do a simple patch test: apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm, leave it for 15–20 minutes, and check for redness, itching or a burning feeling. Stop using the oil immediately if any irritation appears. Do not use it on broken, irritated, sunburned or inflamed skin — the massage movement and the warming sensation may make the area more uncomfortable. Avoid the face and eye area because the formula is intended for body massage and eye tissues are especially reactive.

Because this is a cosmetic product, it is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. If you have a chronic skin condition or are unsure about botanical ingredients, talk to a dermatologist or pharmacist before applying it widely. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is usually safest to ask your specialist first before using new products with aromatic botanicals.
