This gel is designed for people with combination or oily-prone skin, and for anyone who prefers a clean, matte-looking finish before applying serum or cream. If you have noticeably shiny skin, congestion, or visible imperfections, this kind of foaming cleanser is a typical choice. That does not mean it is automatically off-limits for everyone else.
The formula includes Camellia japonica seed oil, glycerin, Codium hyaluronate, desamido collagen, lecithin, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, and sterols. Those are conditioning-type ingredients that help soften the feel of the skin during washing and reduce the tight, stripped feeling foaming cleansers often leave behind. So the gel is intended to be less harsh than a basic foaming wash.
However, it is still a wash-off cleansing gel with foaming action, not a cream or milk cleanser. If your skin is very dry, easily irritated, or reactive to foaming cleansers, start gently. Use lukewarm water, use a small amount, and rinse well. Afterwards, apply a moisturizer suited to your skin. If you are using exfoliating acids, retinoids, or other strong actives, pair the cleanser with a mild moisturizer so the skin does not feel over-cleansed.
If you are unsure how your skin will react, try it in the evening when you have time to observe how you feel after rinsing. If your face stays tight for a long time or looks red or uncomfortable, stop use and consult a specialist before continuing, particularly if you have a chronic condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication.
