Is this face scrub suitable for normal or combination skin with a congested T-zone?

Elfa Pharm PURE LINE Puhastav näokoorija is described as a face scrub for normal and combination skin, so it is a relevant choice if your cheeks are fairly balanced but the T-zone tends to look oilier or more congested. The exfoliating effect comes from fine mechanical particles, including apricot seed powder and silica, which help buff away dead surface cells that can make the complexion look rough or tired.

For combination skin, the kaolin clay and charcoal powder are also useful ingredients to note because they help lift excess oil and surface impurities. This can make the product especially suitable for areas where pores look more visible, such as the nose, forehead, or chin. If your cheeks are drier, you can apply less product there or massage for a shorter time, rather than scrubbing the whole face equally.

The formula also contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, linseed oil, corn oil, urea, and glycerin, which help the skin feel smoother and less stripped after rinsing. Even so, it is still an exfoliating product, so it is best used with a light hand. Avoid rubbing over active breakouts, irritated patches, very sensitive areas, or the eye contour. If your skin often reacts to scrubs, patch-test first or use it less frequently.
