This product is ammonia-free, which many people find more pleasant than traditional dyes. However, it is still an oxidative colourant, so skin sensitivity is the main concern. The most important step is to carry out a patch test 48 hours before each use, even if you have coloured before. Apply a small amount of the mixed dye to a small area of skin, such as behind your ear or on your inner elbow, and wait 48 hours to see if any redness, itching, or irritation develops.
Do not use this product on your eyebrows or eyelashes – the skin around the eyes is very delicate, and the dye could cause serious irritation. Also avoid using it on irritated or damaged scalp skin, such as sunburn, cuts, or flaky patches. If you have a known allergy to hair dyes or have had a reaction to a similar product before, consult a specialist before using it.
If you experience any stinging, burning, or redness during application, rinse the product off immediately and discontinue use. If you have a chronic skin condition like psoriasis or eczema, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to a dermatologist or doctor before using this product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
